Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data we collect when you use Xuan Ji Tang, how we use it, and how you can manage it. The questions you ask, the hexagrams you cast, the interpretations you receive, and your conversation history are linked only to your account and are visible only to you. We do not show them to other users, and we do not provide them to third parties.

(a) Account data: the email address you sign in with. (b) Billing data: your reading balance and top-up history. (c) Birth data: the birth date and hour you provide for charting, used only for charting and readings. (d) Conversations and memory: your conversation history with the reader, and the memory data the system keeps to carry conversations forward; you can delete these at any time. (e) Technical data: device type (phone / tablet / desktop), browser, operating system, and approximate location (country, region, city, supplied by Cloudflare's edge network); we do not access or store your IP address. (f) Casting records: for every cast, including those by signed-out visitors, the question, hexagram, and preliminary analysis are recorded anonymously; records from signed-out visitors are not linked to any identity.

The data above is used only for the following purposes: to provide account functions such as sign-in, reading deduction, and top-ups; to generate and store your interpretations and charts; and to improve interpretation quality and the product experience (statistical analysis is performed on anonymized or aggregated data). We do not sell, rent, or otherwise provide your personal data to any third party, except where required by law or where you have given explicit consent.

The service uses the following third-party services to process data: Supabase (authentication and data storage), Stripe (payment processing; we do not access or store your card or bank details), and analytics tools (anonymous usage statistics). These providers process data only to the extent required to deliver their respective functions.

We use essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. You can clear this data in your browser at any time; after clearing it, you will need to sign in again.
